Charity Work & Services

Our club supports local causes making donations to the chosen charity for the current year. We have in the past supported The MacMillan Nurses, North Air Ambulance, The Great North Air Ambulance, Breast Cancer Campaign, Kendal Kids Diabetic Society, Kendal Mountain Rescue, Cystic Fibrosis, Selside School Appeal and Grayrigg Church Roof appeals. Following club rallies, Landowners have also donated money to the Motor Neurone Association and Bewcastle Church roof restoration. There have been many more over the years.

Club members extend a warm welcome to anyone with an interest in local archaeology, visitors are welcome. Club members have taken part in creating displays at Kendal Museum loaning artefacts for display cases.
