LANCUM-C133A7 Harness Fitting

Cast copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman plain terret ring. The terret has a plain oval hoop with an integrally cast flat bar that has a defined collar at each end of the strap bar. The terret is plain and undecorated. A similar example can be seen in MacGregor’s ‘Early Celtic Art in Northern Britain, Vol 2’, Figures 46 & 56.
